hoopy belated Easter

hey there,

again happy belated Easter. work has been a real pain last few weeks. well this is a sort of normal pre-summer period but since i do work of 2 ppl now i'm dead tired. on the other hand time flies by. it's been real nice and warm here last couple of weeks, so i had an unconvectional Easter.
My best friend from office Maja, her boyfirend Marko and i went sailing for 4,5 half days . it was great. weather was beautiful and warm and i actually swam. the sea was 15 celzius but heck i couldn't resist. (well swim isn't really a name for it. it was more like i jumped in 3 times and was even faster at climbing back out)

we went from Split (biggest coast town) and then sailed to islands of Hvar , Korcula (birth island of Marco Polo), and Mljet.

look at the pics below. we were just discussing how we sometimes take our homecountry for granted.. it is indeed so beautiful. it always amazes me... it is definatlly a place to come and visit.
Don't forget my doors are always open.. plus we have a nice sea house so ....Beth you better make it here :)
so here are some pics

1. this is me in marina just before we sailed out

2. Sailing into Hvar

3. traditional the-night-before-Easter procession at island of Hvar (it was an amezing experiance.. all the lights in town were out and just candels and procession singing. such high spirits)

4. The church in Hvar
5. Ready to get burnt

6. Maja and Marko enjoying the sun and not letting go of streering wheel

7. traditional Easter breakfast in an inconventional setting :)

8. Sunset over islands

9. carefully dipping in my toes on Mljet
10. much much braver the next day :)

11. Maja enjoying the sunset somewhere between Mljet and Korcula

13. catching the wind :)

ok so i bore you with pics :).. but it was so nice. my batteries were full for days and my skin finally got some color:)

on the other note.. i got new car.. yes. its lovely. but will post pics of old babe and new one in other post..
